Butane is not included. The torch ships empty; standard butane refill cartridges are sold at most outdoor stores.
Before your first trip
- Charge the unit fully with the included USB-C cable, following the quick-start manual.
- Fill the torch with a standard butane refill cartridge, outdoors and away from flames, then let it settle before lighting.
- Try each nozzle and both air pipes at home, and check that a pipe seals on the valves of your inflatables. Push-button valves on some kayaks and boards may need their own adapter.
- Pack every piece back into the hard case so nothing goes missing at camp.
Care and storage
- Keep the torch locked whenever it is stowed, and store the tool out of reach of children.
- Store it in its hard case, out of direct sun. Don't leave the unit or butane in a hot car.
- Keep the unit itself dry. The waterproof hard case protects it in transit and storage, but the unit is not made to get wet.
- Wipe the nozzles, air pipes and vacuum nozzle clean after dusty or sandy jobs.
- In freezing weather, keep the tool in the tent or an inside pocket of your pack. Butane vaporizes poorly near freezing, and batteries work better warm.
- Refill the torch outdoors, away from flames, and never point the flame at people, pets or the case.
- Check local fire restrictions and burn bans before lighting anything outdoors.
FAQ
Does the torch come with butane?

What battery does it use?
A 96 Wh (24 V, 4,000 mAh) battery that recharges over USB-C with the included cable. The same battery powers the blower, the vacuum and the 33 W USB-C power bank.
How long does a charge last?
Up to 120 minutes of use, depending on the function and setting.
Can it charge a phone?
Yes. It works as a 33 W USB-C power bank; bring a cable that fits your device. The battery is shared with the blower and vacuum, so if the phone matters most, give it priority.
Can the unit get wet?
Keep it dry. It ships in a waterproof hard case that protects it in transit and storage, but the unit itself should stay out of rain and water.
What can it inflate?
It inflates and deflates kayaks, sleeping pads and floats through its two air pipes. Follow each inflatable maker's pressure guidance and don't overinflate. For high-pressure gear such as paddle boards, finish with a pump and gauge made for it. See inflating and deflating kayaks, pads and floats.
Is it safe around kids and pets?
Treat it like any lighter and blower. Keep the torch locked and out of children's reach, and never point the flame at people or pets. When drying a dog, keep the nozzle a comfortable distance away, never toward the ears, eyes or face, and stop if the dog seems stressed.
